In September 2011, I weighed in at my heaviest ever recorded: 349 lbs. It was on that day that I decided I would lose 100 lbs by my 30th birthday, the following September. I met my goal of losing 100 lbs and have managed to keep that off and am in the process of getting under the 200 mark.
Running alone has not taken off this weight. I very carefully watch what I eat and try to be as active as possible. I track all my food on SparkPeople.com. On non-running days, I hit the gym or do a circuit training dvd at home.
